Current University was started by Jonathan, a San Diego business owner, because good education should be current and free for everyone, in their own language.

The traditional university model is broken. Textbooks are outdated before they ship. Tuition costs have become prohibitive. And the pace of knowledge creation has far outstripped the ability of any institution to keep up.
Current University exists to make a good, structured course free. The lessons were drafted with AI assistance and are edited by a person. Every course states what you will be able to do when you finish, and every chapter ends with a practice and a check.
A course site that says what is written and what is not
53 courses are open today; 50 more are named and waiting for their lessons. We list the difference rather than hide it, and each course page shows the date it was last updated.
Courses keep themselves current. Every day we scan the latest information in every field and, when something changes, add a dated note with at least two sources to the courses it affects. Notes that pass automatic source checks publish by themselves, labeled AI-reviewed update; the rest wait for a person. The lessons themselves are still drafted with AI and edited by a person, and nothing rewrites them silently. When something is wrong it gets fixed and the date changes.
